Hi, we’re Fiona and Áine.

We’re two friends who started Riley in a garage in West Cork, with one question:
why are period products still filled with harmful ingredients?

We'd used period products our whole lives without ever really questioning what was in them. When we finally did, we found chlorine bleach, plastic, synthetic dyes and added fragrance.

So we made something better. Riley is 100% organic cotton - clean, simple, gentle by design. Period care that genuinely puts women’s health first.

We couldn’t find period care we trusted. So we made it.

Mainstream period care doesn’t have to tell you everything that’s inside. Most tampons and pads are made with synthetic materials, added fragrance and glue.

Riley is 100% organic cotton and nothing else: no chlorine bleach, no pesticides, no viscose or rayon.

How it all began.

Where it began

It started in a small garage in West Cork. Two friends who believed period care could be so much better. That belief became Riley.

A year of firsts

We had our first stands at WellFest and Move at the Manor in Dublin, shot our very first TV ad and closed the year with an Irish Tatler Women of the Year Award.

Building momentum

Riley kept growing - named Startup of the Year at the Image.ie PWC Women in Business Awards, launching into Meaghers Pharmacy and selected Dunnes Stores and featured in British Vogue.

Going overground

We won Emerging Cork Company of the Year and took Riley and took over the UK - quite literally - with a campaign across the London Underground.

Made it official

Our proudest milestone yet: Riley became B Corp certified. It's recognition of something we've believed since the beginning - that doing right by people and our planet was never optional.
